During the Ist Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly on 10 April 2025, ministers have proposed several laws, which have raised significant interest, regarding:
- Protection of national symbols. (Law 1/2025)
- Protection of Institutional Dignity and Against Public Outrage. (Law 2/2025)
- Reform of the National Tram Network and Establishment of the Mobility Plan. (Law 4/2025)
The proposed laws listed above have passed the vote of the assembly with a significant majority.
Law 3/2025, proposed by Minister Francesc Lloberas during the Ist Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly was blocked by President Laudani, who proposed the law to be discussed in the next session of the General Assembly set to be be held on friday 18 April 2025. The law regarded the planting of trees on national territory, the President remarked his doubts about this law for lack of space in the Republic.
Despite this, the president underlined his interest in developing the law, or in an alternative version of it, describing Lloberas' proposal as "an interesting environmental proposal, which will certainly be discussed again".
