The President proposes and discusses law proposal regarding the "Ban of Scientology and Jeovah's Witnesses in Todia" to Voice of Todia

Yesterday 15 April 2025, the President has submitted a law proposal and a call to "ban Scientology and Jeovah's Witnesses from the Todian soil". 

The proposal was justified by the President as "These ideologies, or better cults, put at serious risk the integrity and the safety of Todian citizens and has commented "this proposal shall not be judged as a way to repress the freedom of religion, because these are not religions. In the case of Scientology, this organisation can be interpreted as a fraud. Which religion asks you for money to "ascend"? In the case of the JW the case is slightly different, even if they both exercise a control over the believiers, but it doesn't justify the fact that JW can forbid to its believiers to exercise their human rights, like getting a blood transfusion which could save a JW in life-threatening situations. In conclusion, i hope that the General Assembly will welcome my proposal to save Todia from these cults."

The proposal is set to be discussed in the II session of the General Assembly on Friday 18 April. More updates about this proposal will be posted soon.
